Hello, it appears there was a solution in this thread for switching the variation image when only the colour is selected, not both colour and size?
Could you please share that solution? I have the same issue.
Thank you
Hello, carliczyk,
Thank you for reaching out to us. Firstly, we would kindly request that you make corrections to the following overridden templates:
– xstore-child/header.php
– xstore-child/woocommerce/product-added-to-cart.php
We appreciate your attention to this matter and look forward to your prompt action.

Hello, the templates have been updated now.
Thanks for your help
Hello, carliczyk,
I hope this message finds you well. We would like to inquire whether the issue with the attributes has been resolved following the recent template update.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Best Regards,
8Theme’s Team
No it did not.
Please take a look at the product provided in the private area, you can see that when you switch between the 2 colour swatches, the variation image does not switch unless the size variation is selected.
Thanks
Hello, carliczyk,
Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention.
We would like to inform you that the swatches currently displayed on the single product pages are not our custom swatches but are generated by the “Variation Swatches for WooCommerce” plugin. This plugin overrides our settings and does not apply any configurations we have set for our swatches.
To address this issue, you have two options:
1. Enable the “Single Variation Image Preview” option within the plugin settings.
2. Switch to our custom swatches by configuring them appropriately. For guidance on how to do this, please refer to the following tutorial: https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/video-tutotials/variation-swatches/
For your convenience, we have attached detailed files that should assist you in making these adjustments.

Is there a way to have the colour of the swatch display on top of the swatch once its clicked using xstores swatches? How its currently set up in this video in the private area?

1) I have switched over to xstores swatches for the color selection, but the product variation image is still not switching unless the size attribute is selected
2) How do I add the colour ontop of the swatches shown in the demos you previously provided?
Thanks for your help
Hello, carliczyk,
As far as we can see, the color on top of the swatches appears to be correct. Regarding the cartridge replacement, please update the FTP access, as the credentials you previously provided are no longer working.
Best regards,
8Theme Team
Thanks, yes I figured out the issue for colour name on top.
FTP access in the private area.
Thanks
Hello, were you able to find a solution as to why this is not working?
Thank you
Hello, carliczyk,
We have made some changes, and kindly ask you to review them.
The following file has been modified:
public_html/wp-content/plugins/et-core-plugin/packages/st-woo-swatches/public/js/frontend.min.js
Additionally, these changes will be included in the next update.
Best regards,
8Theme Team
Unfortunately, that doesn’t seem to have solved the problem.
I’m still not able to switch the variation image without selecting a size for the product.

Hello, carliczyk,
The issue was caused by the absence of a designated primary attribute in the following path: Customizer -> WooCommerce (Shop) -> Shop Elements -> Variation Swatches -> Primary Attribute.
As far as we recall, the attribute “test_color” was previously assigned (which has now been deleted). Therefore, it is necessary to reassign the primary attribute to an existing one (we have set it to “metal” for now).
Please find further details in the attached files.
Best regards,
8Theme Team
Thank you so much! It works now
