Change the shape of the mask on Blog Hover on Grid 2 mode

Hi,

On blog layout when I chose Grid 2 the shape of the colour mask on hover is square – https://prnt.sc/gvnj2i. I need it to be circle. If I change the border-radius in .wp-picture .blog-mask:before it makes it rounded but somehow even the value us 100% it is not a perfect circle and in changes on all different sizes of the browser window – I think it gets the width of the row – https://prnt.sc/gvnkwo

Can you please help me how to make the mas always fully circle to fit the preview image?
