    Hello 8theme team,

    1) How can we change the background colors of blocks on the pages on X-Store, such as the home page.

For example, have one section white and the next section black.
Will this be done via Elementor? We cannot find how to do this. Can you perhaps share a screenshot?

    Screenshot = https://prnt.sc/uhmwTWXMC0ny
Once section is white, and the next is black.

    2) Can we add different blocks (images) on top the background to give it a color effect by using an image?

For example – have a transparent image of clouds on top of a black colored background.
    Please see PCA.

    Thanks!

    Hello, GTP,

Thank you for contacting us and for using XStore.

1/ To change the background colors of different sections on your pages, you can indeed use Elementor. Here’s how you can do it:
    – Open the page you want to edit with Elementor.
    – Click on the section you wish to customize.
    – In the Elementor panel on the left, navigate to the ‘Style’ tab.
    – Under ‘Background’, you can choose the ‘Classic’ background type and then select the color you desire for that section.

    Please read more – https://elementor.com/help/create-background/

2/ To overlay different blocks or images with a color effect, you can use the following method:
    – Select the section where you want to add the image.
    – Go to the ‘Style’ tab in the Elementor panel.
    – Under ‘Background Overlay’, click on the ‘Add Item’ button.
    – Choose the image you want to overlay, such as your transparent clouds image.
    – Adjust the ‘Opacity’ to get the desired effect on top of your background color.

Should you require further assistance with these features, we recommend contacting Elementor’s support team.

    Best Regards,

    Hi Rose,

    Thanks for your reply.

    3) Can we also make sections of the websites, with just videos?

Meaning have a whole section/block of the website to show a video playing in the background automatically on loop (without the need to press play/or have options to close it down etc.)?

So once someone comes on a specific webpage, the video just plays automatically and is on a loop?

    4) Can we add shapes/different dividers between the block as well? Not sure what this would be called exactly

    Please see PCA.

    Thanks!
