Checkout Page Billing Email address is a required field

    Hi, I have an issue with the live store, no one has been able to purchase as when checking out. There is an error of “Billing Email address is a required field” but there is no such field on the checkout page itself.

    Can you please give me a heads-up on where I can find this field or etc. to deactivate or make it show on the actual checkout page?

    1/ Please test how it works when Storefront (default WooCommerce theme) is activated on the site. Let us know the result or even record a video of your actions and issues.

    We kindly recommend that you take a complete backup of your site before proceeding.

    2/ We suggest disabling all third-party plugins (including cache plugins) that do not come bundled with XStore (https://xstore.helpscoutdocs.com/article/36-included-plugins ), clearing the cache of the browser, and then checking again. It is possible that one of the additional plugins is causing the issue.

    If the issue still persists, please keep all third-party plugins deactivated on your site and grant permission to debug your site, which includes deactivating all third-party plugins and on-site Customization. This will allow us to investigate and assist you accordingly.

    Please note that you should take a complete backup of your site before proceeding.

    In addition, please provide your site’s WP Admin URL and credentials in the private content area of this topic, so that we can look into it further and help you:

    Hi, how do you make the checkout page show instead of the WooCommerce checkout page? Because the checkout page that shows on the xstore dashboard, is not the same checkout page showing on live checkout, is what I’m trying to say or explain.

    You will get the following errors :

    Billing First name is a required field.
    Billing Last name is a required field.
    Billing Street address is a required field.
    Billing Town / City is a required field.
    Billing ZIP Code is a required field.
    Billing Phone is a required field.
    Billing Email address is a required field.
    Please read and accept the terms and conditions to proceed with your order.

    But look at form fields, there is no email address section on page for it to request billing email address field required.

    If the issue persists with the (Storefront) theme, We would recommend that you, Please contact WooCommerce plugin Support – https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/woocommerce/

    Once the issue is resolved with the WooCommerce default theme – Storefront then It will auto work correctly with the XStore theme.

    2/ The checkout page comes from WooCommerce. We would recommend you contact support of WooCommerce plugin – https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/woocommerce/

    3/ If the issue is only with the XStore theme, Please provide us your site wp-admin access in the private content area. This will allow us to review your settings and better understand the issue at hand and help you.

    We kindly recommend that you take a complete backup of your site before proceeding.

    Could you please provide temporary wp-admin and FTP access?

    To grant WP-Admin access, please proceed to create a new user account with an administrator role through your WordPress Dashboard. Once the account is established, you may securely transmit the username and password to us via the Private Content section designated for this purpose.

    For FTP access, we require the following details: FTP host, FTP username, FTP password, FTP port, and FTP encryption type. If you need assistance in creating these credentials, please reach out to your hosting provider who will guide you through the process.

    Hi, ok after all this troubleshooting. I figured out that the woopay payment plugin is the cause of said error of missing email field on the checkout form.

    I figured I post this here for anyone facing said issue, can have an idea or heads up on where to look.
