Checkout playing up - by adamrhodes - on WordPress WooCommerce support

    On http://www.usassything.com I am struggling with the checkout. When users enter their details they are forced to enter a phone number despite it saying phone number (optional).

    Also after clicking proceed with PayPal they are forced to set up a PayPal account despite it saying you do not need to be registered with PayPal to make a payment.

    Finally, when they make a payment after clicking the Visa icon it takes the user’s details and sends them straight back to the checkout details page.

    This needs resolving immediately as the website launches tomorrow.

    Hello,

    Checkout playing relates to WooComerce functionality, so you need to be sure that it works fine with a default WC theme – Storefront. Go to Appearance > Themes > install and activate Storefront theme and test purchase again. If the problem is independent of theme, contact the support of woocommerce to get help.
    Make sure that your settings for WooCommerce PayPal Checkout Gateway plugin are correct – https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/paypal-express-checkout/
