    Dear team,
I read in the documentation, that it is is better to make any modification to the core of the theme in the child theme.
I installed the main theme, then I uploaded the child theme (so they were not uploaded at the same time).
Now, i want to delete the Xprice-Y-price in the product page.
When I add the snippet to the functions.pho of the child theme nothing happens, but if I add it to the main theme functions.php , it works!
Can you advise on how to use the child theme or if there is a documentation about that?
    Thank you

    Hello,

Be sure that you have activated the child theme in Appearance -> Themes firstly.

    Regards

I activated the child-theme..But it is a total mess! Can I copy the functions.php from the parent to the child them?
I am not a good programmer, so I will not be able to do lots of changes to the child theme to make it look like the parent!

No, you don’t need to copy any code from the parent theme. Just activate it and add your customization to the child theme functions.php file.
