Hello there,
Gongrats for this great theme!
I have 2 questions:
1. I’ve found a Royal.pot file inside /language directory and I’ve created Royal-bg_BG.po and Royal-bg_BG.mo files out with Poedit. Everything seems ok with the files but when I upload them NO translations occur in front end. It is uploaded on the same /language directory. Other files in this directory working just fine except royal.po/mo. Are there any additional steps that have to be performed? Do you have any ideas how to make the system read it? Here is the screenshot of dir structure -> http://bit.ly/2gXRQG6
2. On the same screenshot there is a Royal theme child theme provided by you. When I upload the child them WordPress told me “missing parent theme, do you want to download it”. When I click download it download a theme named royal but it is different than yours. Somehow it doesnt recognize this child theme belongs to the one I get from you. Any ideas how to handle that will be appreciated.
Thank you in advance!
Hello,
Thank you for contacting us.
Please read how to translate theme correctly https://www.8theme.com/demo/docs/royal/#!/1_how_to_translate
As for child theme, please make sure your parent theme folder is named “royal” and not “Royal_2.8” https://8theme.com/demo/docs/royal/index.html#!/2_child_theme
Regards,
Rose Tyler.
Thank you for your fast reply. Everything is working correct!
Just a note – the name had to be changed to Royal. With royal it doesnt work, R should be uppercase.
Regards
