Hi,
The site was having strange behaviours that seems to be related to the activation of the child theme instead the parent.
Once we switch to the parent theme, the problems are gone.
We’ve tried ripping off all the custom PHP code in functions.php but nothing seems to take effect.
Best,
Mannix
Hello,
If the problem persists with the child theme only, you need to check your custom changes there.
Please note that we are not responsible for custom changes that you do in the child theme.
Our clear child theme is included in the theme package ( XStore – All files, full archive https://www.8theme.com/downloads/ ), so you can compare codes.
Regards
We’ve rolled back the child theme files to the original code and the error persist.
You can check it if you want since you already have admin privileges from a previous issue.
I’ve checked the issue when editing the main page and the console output states an error with the KIRKI plugin. See attached screenshot.
Hello,
https://prnt.sc/eqnanmubo18X – contact your hosting provider and ask to increase execution time.
Then provide us with FTP access to files. If you do not know how to create FTP, your hosting provider should be able to assist you.

Hi there,
We’ve increased the execution time as you can see on the private link.
You have full FTP access.

Hi,
to avoid future inquiries, could you tell us what you did in order to fix the issue?
Thanks
Hello,
Changes were done in themes/xstore/js/etheme-scripts.min.js file and they are included in the theme update.

We continue having AJAX 500 errors on production.
Please see private content for more information
Hello,
In order to troubleshoot the issue you are experiencing, we suggest that you first try disabling all third-party plugins (including cache plugins) that are not bundled with XStore. You can refer to the following link for a list of included plugins: https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/plugins/included-plugins/. Additionally, please clear the cache of your browser and check again. It is possible that one of the additional plugins is causing the problem.
If the above steps do not resolve the issue, please provide us with temporary FTP access to your website. This will allow us to further investigate the issue and provide an accurate solution.
Please let us know if you have any further questions or concerns.
Best Regards,
8Themes Team
Still not working. You’ll find the access to FTP in the private content area
