Child Theme translation doesn't work

Hi,

I am working a german translation of Legenda by editing .po the theme’s .po-files. I use a child theme, but the translation doesn’t work if I change the .po in it. If I change the same file in the Legenda folder, it works. In every different behaviour the child-them works and is activated.
Can this be explained somehow?

Legenda: /wp-content/themes/Legenda/langauges/de_DE.po)
Child: /wp-content/themes/ChildName/langauges/de_DE.po
