Hello,
I’m just in the process of setting up a child theme to enable us to make changes to the header but I’m worried about losing our widget and static block settings if we do.
I have uploaded the child theme and when viewing it under live preview quite a few of the widgets are missing. Is this just a glitch in the live preview function or will I have to re-create the widgets and block areas when the child theme activates?
Thanks,
James

Hello,
As I see you have a lot of plugins. Try to disable one by one and check the website

Hi Robert, it doesn’t appear to be a plugin issue. I think it’s to do with the display of the Woocommerce product category and when I try to edit the category in the admin area it’s coming up with the same problem. I have attached a screen shot of what it’s looking like and what it was looking like below.
I have setup an old backup on my local webserver with v2.3 of the theme and it’s all fine. The problem seems to have happened once I’d updated to v2.4.1 of the Legenda theme.
Hello,
Please specify for which category you are getting that error?
Could you please provide us with FTP credentials as well?
Thank you.

Hi Eva, it’s all of the categories within woocommerce. Have attached ftp details below…

Hello,
Please update Woocommerce plugin to the latest version and check if the problem persists after that.
Thank you.

Hi Eva, thanks for your reply. I have updated WooCommerce and the problem is still persisting 🙁

Hello,
Please try to re-update all product categories.
It should fix the issue.
Thank you.

Eva Kemp.
Hi Eva,
thanks for your reply. As I mentioned earlier on the Installation Issues & Fixes post – if I save the category I lose all of the category header content that has already been entered. Seeing as we have over 50 categories losing this info is not an option.
We really do need to get this sorted asap. Like I mention, this has only happened since I updated to version 2.4.1 of the Legenda theme.
Regards,
James
