    Hello,

    I am entering all my customization code (for the website) in the section of;

    Theme options -> Additional CSS
    and everything is working fine.

    Is this okay? Or should the customization code be entered somewhere else?

    Thanks for the advice!

    Hello,

    It is okay.
    Just for info, custom CSS can be added in few different places:
    1/ Theme Options -> Theme Custom CSS -> Global CSS (saved in database)
    2/ Customizer (Theme Options) -> Additional CSS (saved in database)
    3/ xstore-child/style.css (saved in file)

    The difference of our Theme Custom CSS and Additional CSS is in the fact that if you want to import/export settings then Theme Custom CSS will be included in the export file but Additional CSS won’t be because it is in the separate tables in database and not included by default on export.

    Regards

    Hello Rose,

    I think I will stick with the additional CSS as it is much easier aha.
    I will use this as reference, so when I make a new website I can just check that and copy all the code and paste it to the new website.

    I looked at theme custom CSS section, and it has some code there already, but I did not add this.
    Is this normal?

    Thanks!

    Hello, @TFS,

    Sound’s Good!! that you finalize your decision.

    And Yeah in some of our demos, we add a little styling using that Custom CSS, so that is the reason it’s there, you can leave it as it is. No need to worry about it.

    Regards 8Themes Team.
