Hello,
1) Watch the video on how to use variation swatches https://youtu.be/LgzC4iK-j6A
2) Use image type for your color attribute instead of the color http://prntscr.com/swu1ta .
Regards
Thanks! But that’s actually not what I was asking for. For example, if i have thousands of products with different pattern but with the same color, do i have to create thousands of attributes with images? And I don’t really know which Black color to choose when I creating a new product under the attribute section.
Hello,
I see, you are talking about variation swatches for the custom product attributes, not about global. Unfortunately, we don’t have option to use swatches for the custom product attributes, only for global. But you may submit feature requests here https://www.8theme.com/taskboard/ and if it finds support from other customers our developers will be able to add this option in future updates.

Thanks for your help 🙂
One more question… Can we show slug instead of the attributes name? So that we can figure out which attribute to use when creating a new product. Thanks again!
Hi Olga, one more issue..We chose the horizontal display under the gallery tab. But it keeps showing vertical display at the product page. Is there a bug here? Thanks!
Hello,
1)
Can we show slug instead of the attributes name?
This is how WooCommerce displays attributes, we don’t have additional options for this. But keep in mind that you can add terms directly from the single product page, for example

2) I don’t see the mentioned issue http://prntscr.com/sxuvl1 Have you sorted out?

Thanks so much for your help Olga! The gallery is now working!!
And we will keep looking to solve our attribute issue. Actually we tried the method you mentioned above. If I fill out a attribute name with different slug, it keeps reporting an error and won’t let me create a new one. We are going to try some other plugins. Let’s see if we can make this happen…
Hi,
You’re welcome!
