Dear 8Theme-Team,
First of all, very good job on the Royal Theme! One of the best Themes I have come across so far.
Nevertheless, there is one issue with sending E-Mails: On the contact page, Contact Form 7 is able to send E-Mail without a problem, however, trying to “submit” a form in the sidebar does not work properly, as the Mail is never sent out from the server (see private content for links to pages).
Details:
I hope you will be able to assist me in getting the sidebar contact form to work as it should. Thank you in advance!
Kind Regards,
MEWIGO
Hello,
Your site is under maintenance mode, so please give us access to wp-admin panel.
Also please check if the issue persists with default WordPress theme.
Are you able to receive email if you use Twenty Fifteen theme for example?
Thank you.
Regards,
Eva Kemp.

Hello,
thank you for your immediate reply!
After a little more research I was able to fix the problem by installing the “WP-Mail-SMTP” Plugin and using the mail() PHP function (not SMTP, as I have not configured the server accordingly). Now the Mails arrive in my inbox.
So, for others experiencing the same Problem, this is what fixed it for me:
1. Install “WP-Mail-SMTP”
2. Configure the Plugin with
a) From Email
b) From Name
c) Check: “Set return path to match the From Email”
3. Try sending mails again
Note: I think this issue might have to do with spam-prevention measures, as the domain and the server are registered with two different providers.
Hello,
We’re glad you managed to resolve the issue.
Thank you for sharing the solution.
Have a nice day.
Regards,
Eva Kemp.
