    Hi,

I have imported the ‘Interior’ demo and liked it.

Now I want to retain the layout of the demo but want to make the woocommerce functional and add my products and images and make it operative.

I am not clear which options to select/deselect to make it my final layout and start taking orders.

Can you please tell me how to do that

    Hello, @webpat,

Here are the steps to make your WooCommerce store functional and add your products and images using the XStore WordPress theme:

    1. Install and activate the WooCommerce plugin: If you haven’t done so already, install the WooCommerce plugin and activate it. This plugin is required for creating an online store with XStore.

    2. Configure WooCommerce settings: Once WooCommerce is installed, go to WooCommerce > Settings to configure your store’s settings. You can set up your payment and shipping options, tax rates, and other settings here. https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-start-an-online-store/

    3. Add your products: To add your products, go to Products > Add New. Here you can enter the product title, description, price, and other details. You can also upload images of your products. Once you have added your products, they will appear in your store.

    4. Customize your store’s appearance: To customize the appearance of your store, go to XStore >> Theme Options >> WooCommerce(Shop). Here you can change the colors, fonts, and layout of your store.

    5. Create your store’s pages: To create your store’s pages, go to Pages > Add New. You will need to create pages for your shop, cart, checkout, and my account. OR you can simply go to WooCommerce >> Status >> Tools and “Create default WooCommerce pages” from there.

    6. Set up your menus: To set up your store’s menus, go to Appearance > Menus. Create a new menu and add your store’s pages to it. You can also add product categories and other links to your menu.

    7. Test your store: Once you have set up your store, test it by adding a product to your cart and completing a checkout. Make sure that the payment and shipping options are working correctly.

That’s it! With these steps, you can make your XStore WordPress theme functional and start taking orders.

    Best Regards,

These are generic instructions. How can keep the layout of Interior Demo also. The pages like shop, cart are already there from the demo I guess. Do I need to make new pages? Can I not use the same pages of the demo and continue?
