Create gallery real time from specific folder

I want to create a page with photos from a folder on the same server. And while I add photos to that folder, they should be taken in the respective gallery from that page.

How can I make the connection between the photo gallery and the folder where I have the photos?

Moreover, periodically check if new photos have been added to the respective folder and, if so, add them to the respective gallery.
