I want to add an image at the top of the product catalogue page. I know how to do this, but I want to add a different image based on what the product category is being displayed on the page at the time. How can I do this?
I do not see a way in Elementor to show image based on a product category, as a rule, for example.
Hello, @JS7319,
Thank you for contacting us and for using XStore.
You can add a banner at the top of each category page and sub-category. Please go to Products > Categories > edit category > add content into Description area.
it can be a static block shortcode.
We have recorded a video for you, please watch it and follow the steps shown in the video under the private content area.
Additionally, If you wish to display the Image/text from the description of the category, You need to integrated an archive description widget into the product archive page layout.
We sincerely hope that this assistance proves beneficial to you.

Hi,
I would like to create a full length banner. I have achieved this using the Elementor section and adding a background image. Please see attached. Your video is placing an image, not quite the look I am after as they are too large.
Please see attached. I’m trying to create a banner like this for each specific product category so the banner is relevant to the product category and not universal across all (as it is at the moment).
Hello, @JS7319,
Thank you for your response.
We have reviewed your website and noticed that you are utilizing a custom product archive layout with Elementor for your shop page. For detailed guidance, please refer to our documentation: [XStore Products Archive Builder with Elementor](https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/xstore-builders/xstore-products-archive-builder-with-elementor/).
To enhance your site further, you have the option to add banners for each specific product category. To do this, please create a new static block tailored to your requirements. Subsequently, you can edit the specific product category and embed the static block shortcode in the description. Ensure you save the settings after making these changes.
Additionally, we have prepared a video tutorial to assist you in this process. You can find the video link in the private content area of this message. We highly recommend watching it and following the steps provided.
We hope you find this information helpful. Should you have any further questions or require additional assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Best Regards,
The 8Theme Team
