After running the import, which was successful, when I view the page, there is a critical error as you can see in the screenshot: https://nimb.ws/jGrtay. This is a fresh install and the server requirements are fine as here: https://nimb.ws/tiNL9P
Hello,
Take our apologies for the inconvenience. Could you, please, provide us with WP Dashboard and FTP access to your site to check the issue in more detail?
Also, tell us what demo version did you try to install?
Regards
I did a fresh install again and it is now fine. But why is it asking me to update: https://nimb.ws/QfU0Zi when it is already updated to 7.1: https://nimb.ws/f1AVXZ
I am also getting critical error upon activation of the ‘et-core’ plugin
Hello, @travelchristoph
We are glad to hear that you sorted out the fatal error.
You renamed the parent theme folder, that’s why you have that message about the update, system does not detect that you use the latest version of our theme because of renaming.
Actually, we don’t recommend renaming the parent theme because you won’t be able to use auto-update in the future and need to update the theme manually if you renamed the parent theme folder.
Regards
But what is the solution? Since you allow rebranding of theme options but not the theme folder which is the very basic. I had worked like this for the other themes but never had a problem.
Hello,
You can rename the folder but then just update theme manually via FTP https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/theme-installation/theme-update/ .
