Hey there.
So there is an issue where if I use Elementor as Cart page editor the CSS seems broken, while when I switch to standard WordPress editor everything’s fine.
Examples: https://imgur.com/a/btvN5Fr
When editing in Elementor everything’s fine, but “live” site has CSS off as you can see on screenshots. And I’d like to use Elementor for this cause I wanted to add some elements not available in standard editor.
Perhaps you could help on this one?
And 2nd issue, I wanted to use Sales Booster Quantity Discount shortcode on Cart page, but it doesn’t seem to work. I doesn’t display anything. Does it need to be put on page like Sticky Cart first?
Hello, @Maciej Majchrzak,
Thank you for contacting us and for using XStore.
1/ We’d like to inform you that archive pages, including the cart and checkout pages, cannot be directly edited using the standard WordPress editor or the free version of the Elementor plugin.
However, we have introduced an exciting new feature called XStore builders, which allows you to customize your cart page using Elementor. To guide you through this process, we have detailed instructions in our theme documentation. Please refer to the documentation. https://www.8theme.com/documentation/documentation/xstore-builders/xstore-builders-getting-started/
We believe that this new capability will provide you with the flexibility and creative freedom you desire for your website. https://ibb.co/YRkx3bZ
Should you encounter any issues, Please record a video of the problem for a better understanding. Upload it on a filesharing service, for example – https://wetransfer.com/ , and provide us with URL.
Furthermore, we would appreciate it if you could create temporary wp-admin access and share the details via the private content area. This will allow us to review your settings and better understand the issue at hand.
We kindly recommend that you take a complete backup of your site before proceeding.
2/ We kindly request that you provide us with a screenshot of the issue at hand, as well as a detailed description of your specific needs or the outcome you are aiming to achieve. This will enable us to review the matter and offer you the appropriate assistance.
You may upload the screenshots on https://imgbb.com/ and paste the links here.
Thank you for your cooperation and we look forward to hearing from you soon.
Best Regards,
8Theme’s Team
Hi. So here’s the link to the video where I’m showing the issues I was writing about (it’s the cloud we’re using for our company): https://mega.nz/file/07ZUAD4T#7wp5I1btH2XfzMyh78Qj0ZRuMMsuqSLAM6BgZLGc7Ag
And there is one additional thing: how do we put recommended products and View Cart button in off-canvas cart like in this demo here? https://ibb.co/Zg6Gt29
Let me know if you need FTP access for any of this.
Hello, Maciej Majchrzak,
We appreciate your prompt response.
1/ When you edit the Cart page using Elementor, please try to delete WC shortcode and use our element Cart page element https://prnt.sc/LLYOF3iXhZqK
2/ Quantity Discount https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/xstore-features/how-to-setup-booster-sales-quantity-discounts/ can work only on a single product page. it can’t work anywhere else, unfortunately.
If you want to change this, please post a request to our dev team via this page – https://www.8theme.com/taskboard/
3/ Theme Options > Header Builder > Cart > Show Linked Products (Off-Canvas) and select Linked Products Type.
Read more about different types here – https://woo.com/document/related-products-up-sells-and-cross-sells/
Best Regards,
8Theme’s Team
