For some reason the CSS in my child theme is not loading after I made the most recent update.

I’ve also tried adding the styles to the default.custom.css in the main parent, but it is also being ignored. And yes, I’ve turned on the ‘Custom CSS’ setting in the Theme Options.

    Hello,

Please provide us with wp-admin panel and FTP credentials to check your child theme.
default.custom.css must be renamed to custom.css.
How to create custom.css you can watch in this tutorial (it’s for Legenda theme but the process is the same).

    Thank you.
    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

I didn’t realize it was necessary to change the filename. I’ve done that and it works now.

Seems like an unnecessary extra step – why not just have the custom.css file in the directory without having to change the filename?

    thanks!
