I have created new custom post type “news_media” and it’s working fine. I didn’t create any template so that it will use blog template. The archive is using blog template, but the single template is not. Single template doesn’t have featured image and the sidebar is also not showing by default.

Can’t we use any other layouts?
Blog has right sidebar as default but this custom post type has without sidebar. How can we set sidebar option same as blog?
Also, custom post type doesn’t have options same as blog. Is there any way to add the Xstore options – https://nimb.ws/EqP8wti ?

And why the breadcrumbs has background image while other post & page don’t have?
Also, is it possible to show
Page title
without using breadcrumbs?

I have used settings from Theme Options > Blog > Bloga Layout and Single Post. But the sidebar for custom post type is not showing. I need to update xstore options Layout for each posts to enable sidebar on right.

I had manually set right sidebar from “xstore layout”. If you create new test post then by default there won’t be any sidebar.

Hello Manish Shah,

We are pleased to hear that you have found a workaround.

Please be advised that our support extends to the basic functionality of our theme. Should you choose to use a third-party plugin or custom code to add your own custom post type, we regret to inform you that our support does not cover these modifications. We hope for your understanding in this matter.

I think you misunderstood my previous reply.
The sidebar shows only if I manually set in “xstore option” for each custom post type. But it should actually show default sidebar same as blog posts.
If I create new blog post then sidebar shows automatically without changing anything, but for custom post type sidebar doesn’t show automatically unless I manually change it.
I hope this clears the situation.

I didn’t think that was customization but as a part of theme that should use default options.
Anyway, thanks for the help till now.
