Hi, wondering if you can help.
I’m trying to assign a custom side bar to a new custom post type.
I’ve setup the custom post types with Custom Post Type UI plugin however I can’t enable your “Page Layout” settings on the new custom post types.
This is what I’m trying to add to the new custom post types:

I think the issue is that by default, the custom post types plugin doesn’t have support for your “Page layout” feature, but it does have option to register other “supports” values: http://take.ms/g5BYf
Can you advise what what support value is for the your “Page Layout” feature?
Alternatively, can you advise how I can set a custom sidebar for a custom post type.
Website provided as private content. Please advise if you need logins.
Many thanks
Hello,
Please take our apologies but we don’t provide support for 3rd-party plugins. This is out of our basic support scope.

Hi Eva,
I’m not looking for support with the plugin, only to provide context with what the query I’m looking for.
Can you advise what the Support Value is for the your “Page Layout” feature?
Thanks
Hello,
Sorry, but default theme “Page Layout” section can’t be implemented into 3rd-party plugin.

Hi Eva,
It’s not really adding “Page Layout” to a 3rd party plugin, it’s about adding your “page layout” theme controls to a custom post type.
I’m not fixed on using the Custom Post Type plugin. Can you advise on a alternative solution to create custom post types with your theme?
Thanks
Hello,
Please specify what post type you want to create.
Perhaps you can achieve it with Visual Composer editor.
Also give us access to wp-admin panel.

I have the same issue. Trying to add the sidebar type to custom post types. The solution I found, if anyone else has the problem is to use “Display Widgets” plugin. It lets you control which pages each widget is/or isn’t displayed on. You can put a widget in the main sidebar and then only display it on the custom post type. It works.
Hello,
We’re glad to hear that your issue was solved.
Thank you for the notice.
Regards,
Rose Tyler.
