    1.i wanted to hide some option from the select options for eg.sort by price,sort by average rating. http://prntscr.com/n46622
    2.Want to add new option fields which Sort by alphabhetically in the dropdown.http://prntscr.com/n46bv0

    I use code from this article in functions.php of your child-theme, but not getting any changes .
    but i used code in parent theme functions.php

    Is child-theme activated on your site?
    If you made changes in the parent theme files, you’ll lose them after theme update. That’s why you need to move all modifications to the child-theme.
