Hello,
i want to customize my XSTORE theme.
I use the actual versions:
Wordpress 6.2, XSTORE 9.1 with child theme
XSTORE Core 5.1
when i switch in the customizer to make changes, the changes in the actual customizer section are shown correct in the left navigator, and also this changes were seen on the sample page. if i switch to another section, then the sample page switch back to the default settings and shows only the changes you can made in the new choosen section.
for example, i change the bg color for footer to green, and when i change then from footer to eg menu section, then the bg color is switched back to black and instead of this all changes in the menu section were shown.
unfortunally no changes are visible on the main site.ä
I used after every step the Publish button…
i disabled every cache plugin and setting for test. but nothing changed in this behavior.
any idea? many thanks
Holger
Hello HCJurkat,
Thank you for purchasing our theme and for contacting our support center.
We have checked your site and found that the footer color is green. This is likely due to a cache issue at your end. We recommend that you clear your browser cache and check back to your site. Please refer to the image provided for a better reference: https://postimg.cc/5Ht0yfkD
If you are able to see the changes in the Customizer but not on the page front, it is likely a cache issue. If it is working correctly in the Customizer, it should also be working on the front end.
To ensure this, please navigate to XStore > Theme Options > Speed Optimization > Menu Cache, Static Blocks Cache, Remove Query Strings From Theme Static Resources, and set them to Off.
We hope this helps.

Good Morning,
thanks for your fast response.
I ve made the settings you suggested. The behavior is better noe but not complete good.
I use an ipad pro for working on that device the changes will appear in the customizer if you first publish the changes and then refresh the page.
that is ok for a workaround but not for a smooth workflow. on other themes which uses the wordpress own customizer engine i don‘t know such a behavior – thats the reason why i am surprised for that. any idea what could be the reason now? any setting on safari side which can help?
Hello, HCJurkat,
Thank you for your response.
Please provide a detailed video of the problem. Upload it on a filesharing service and provide a URL via the Private Content area.
Also, provide temporary wp-admin access, so we can take a closer look at your settings.
To provide wp-admin access, you can create a new user account with administrator role via the Dashboard, and provide us with the username and password via the Private Content area.
Thank you for your cooperation and we look forward to hearing from you soon.

Hello, HCJurkat,
Thank you for your response.
We can’t log in to your site /wp-admin/ redirects to 404 page, the my-account page redirects to 404 page also. What is correct URL of the login form on your site or could you disable the redirect?
Kind Regards,
8theme team
sorry for pasting the wrong link…
Hello, HCJurkat,
Thank you for your response.
Copyright settings from your video don’t work, because you did not add any content in Appearance > Widgets > Footer Copyrights areas.
We’ve changed the settings for the Footer on your site. The content of the footer is created using static block now – https://prnt.sc/FF4WEfYUkQNv , so you can edit it using WPBakery – https://prnt.sc/n_WIq3eU3FyR , the result is https://prnt.sc/UpFYDWdmj9vC Please try to work with it now.
Additionally, you can try using the Chrome browser tool to clear your browser cache: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/clear-cache/cppjkneekbjaeellbfkmgnhonkkjfpdn?hl=en
If you have any additional questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. Our support team is always available to assist you.

hi,
i know that i can use static blocks instead but footer color is only an example for every change you made. i have the same issue, when i try to adjust the header or when i do changes on the sidebar.
i will try out the work on a windows pc, but i believe that could be a problem in conjunction with the use of ios devices.
Hello, HCJurkat,
Thank you for the response.

Hi,
actually on a pc browser it works fine for me. so on an ipad it is much difficult to use the customizer in other functions too (eg. header builder to activate the settings of an area). so i will do it on pc.
but could you help me on another question?
if you look to the start page of the shop which is the basic page generated from woocommerce plugin, you can see that many elements have black color innstead of the heading color which i selected in customizer.
also some elements in cart and checkout are black instead of gray. is there a way to manage that in a central customizer setting which i have not found yet or do i need for all that custom css?
many thanks in advance
Holger
Another setting which i not found is the standard color for links do i need css entries for that too?
Hello, HCJurkat,
Thank you for the response.
Theme Options > Typography > set colors for body texts and headings.
Please provide screenshots of where exactly you want to change colors and we will guide you. For some causes, custom CSS code is needed.
You can use Lightshot screenshot or Gyazo tool to make screenshots and share the links here, or you can use a file sharing service such as WeTransfer https://wetransfer.com/ to upload ready images there and provide us with URLs.
About links, provide screenshots too.
Thank you for your cooperation.

sorry for having another question i cant find a solution…
i tried to install the german translation like the way you pointed out on your tutorial video with loco translate.
when i download the po file from the project page i ggot the info that about 71% of the strings are translated. after an upload and sync in loco i got the message that only 31% are translated. my problem is that i want to translate the shopping cart accordeon titles and the breadcrumb titles but i dont find were that steings are located.
could you give me a hint for that?
many thanks
Holger

Hello, HCJurkat,
Thank you for your response.
Try to work with transitions now.

Thanks for your assistance.
I see that the translation is now working at many positions.
if i understand that in the right way – you have deleted rhe po file for the theme and uploaded it for the child theme instead – correct?
i tried that too but had no cüsuccess. wht else have you done?
and why is now only 14% translated and with the theme itself i had a quote about 39% and on the translation project site it was about 71 %?
many thanks
Holger
Hello, HCJurkat,
Your translation files for the parent theme and Core plugin have incorrect names, we’ve deleted old files, because we were not able to rename them without FTP access, and we uploaded files with the correct names. Not for a child theme, only the parent theme should be translated. Then we’ve Sync translation – https://youtu.be/eiEFKuNtCFM , it reduced % because new strings were added.
Kind Regards,
8theme team
