    Hi,

Secondary language pages, handled by WPML Translation Management, can’t be edited directly. So how to set the sidebar without for translations?

There is an option for post to choose the layout and sidebar position under Theme options, but this does not apply for pages.

There is no thing to show. I try to describe the issue more detailed.
    1. New pages we create, they always with sidebar
    2. First thing after page name, will set Sidebar Position: without
    3. For translation i don’t create page, to keep page content syncronized
    4. WPML creates page during translation, but sidebar option not set.

Would be nice, if somehow to set sitewide page sidebar default.

Should I head to WPML support or You can handle this?

    Hello,

We tested the creation of the page with the custom sidebar option and did not face issues with the auto-copying of the sidebar position. Do you use Translate and duplicate option to create translation https://gyazo.com/728af0f4626b65e4ae978e3e707d5740
Make sure that you enabled “Copy” for the sidebar in the WPML settings https://gyazo.com/0fa896968f0bcae6dee594369de2098c
Provide us with WP Dashboard access to your site to test the issue if it does not help, please.

    Hello,

    It’s there https://gyazo.com/2149a4e1f5f3f1bcfe62508c43bcddf6
And it’s set to Copy once, you can unblock and change it to Copy if you need.
Anyway, you choose the sidebar position globally in Theme Options > Blog > Blog page > Sidebar position or manually in the page settings https://prnt.sc/12ve9o9 and also you set translation for these custom fields either globally https://gyazo.com/2149a4e1f5f3f1bcfe62508c43bcddf6 or manually https://prnt.sc/12vearr
    And everything works.

    Regards
