Demo import - by Radu - on WordPress WooCommerce support

    Hi there,

    I really like the theme but to be honest I am a little dissapointed in the demo import feature. I wanted to import the default theme with the default content (I understand that images are subject to copyright) but my installation does not have a shop page, does not have the currency change, no chat, etc.

    Can you kindly setup my website to look exactly like your default demo? And use image placeholders where original images cannot be used.

    Hello,

    To install shop, cart, checkout pages go to WooCommerce > System Status > Tools tab > press Install Demo Pages button, this is not related to our theme, very likely you skipped WC setup wizard after plugin activation. To add the shop page into menu go to Appearance > Menus > add the page into the main menu.

    Chat. Chat is not included in our theme, this is for theme support and pre-sale questions. If you check the list of theme features on TF you’ll see that chat is not mentioned there.

    Currencies. We have mentioned that that list os for demo only http://prntscr.com/erune5 If you need currency switcher you need to install additional plugin, for example, https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce-currency-switcher/

    Thank you for the reply.

    Regarding the WooCommerce demo pages – I did not miss any steps, I did all the steps that I was asked during the Theme setup. I went to WooCommerce – System – Tools but I cannot find any “Install Demo Pages” button – see http://prntscr.com/erw8ng

    Regarding chat – what do you mean it’s not available? If it’s not, then why do you showcase it in your demo? I do not see any mentions on themeforest that the chat is not included

    Regarding currencies – again, I feel that I am being ripped off. I DID saw the “This is just for demo” message, but I assumed that that’s why the USD/EURO currency does not work but it’s a feature that I can use without any problems.

    There is a reason that I did shared the login informations, if you would have logged in you would have noticed the WooCommerce issue. Regarding the chat and the currencies, I feel that I have paid for a product that it looked nice and shiny but I only got the product, without the nice and shiny part.

    2) We provide support for the XStore theme using this chat. If you check it you’ll see that this is XStore support http://prntscr.com/es0dp1
    3) Is it problem for you to use fee plugin to add currency switcher?

    Hi,

    The chat plugin – that does not really prove anything. If I view your live demo and see a live chat, I expect the same feature to have it on my demo also. Even more, seing it’s connected to your XStore support makes me think that I can connect it to my support department also.

    The currency switcher – I would need to install a compatible plugin (one that so far you have failed to mention) and I would need to pay someone to make it look exactly like your demo – the top menu I mean.

    I am afraid that if you cannot customize my website with the support chat plugin and the currency plugin I will ask for a refund as this is the first time I am seing a demo theme have extra features than the ones actually provided without any notifications.

    Let me know what you decide.

    Other features that I do not see in my demo installation vs your demo:
    1 – http://prnt.sc/es12xl – this layer with all the arrows explaining things
    2 – The dropdown menus with all the nice colored tags

    Again, kindly setup my theme to look exactly or as closely as possible as the demo

    Hello,

    I’m sorry but when you buy theme you should read theme description to understand what featured are built-in, you may ask the support manager about the detailed information of the features you are interested in. On our demo you can see green bulb with price $59 and green label with the number of available demos but you understand that this is for demo only, the same for the support chat and dark mask with arrows to highlight the features that theme has. How should we add the support chat for the pre-sale question and inform the customer that this is for demo only even if this text in the currency drop-down is not clear for you?

    If you need help with currency switcher styles we’ll be able to help you with this. This is included in our support.

    We would like to include the menu import into demo content import but WordPress does not allow import of custom fields. But if you like any of the menu items I’ll be able to create it for you, I just need admin panel access and screenshot of the menu item you like.

    Thank you for the reply. Unfortunately, again I cannot agree with you. I read the theme’s description the first time and I just did it again. As per this image – https://8theme.com/images/themeforest/xstore/10.jpg – you are mentioning that everything is included, so I expect to receive what I see in your demo.

    # Simple. With the dark mask. You could have mentioned in the dark mask that this is a feature that is not available and on it mention about the chat that’s not available.

    I am going to be honest with you, the dark mask was the thing that made me go with your theme and not another one. If that feature is not available, then I want a full refund.

    Ok. Send us refund request on ThemeForest. Keep in mind that you won’t be able to use our theme and all the included plugins after refund.
