Hello,
I need to make different set of filters for every category.
For example category Cameras and subcategories should have active filtering by resolution, IP level and some other. Next category – Security alarms should have active filtering by other atributes – for example wired or wireless, number of extensions, etc.
How can I archive that? With widgets all I can make is filter by atributes for whole shop, not exclusive for category. Can I make custom widgets that will show only in assigned category page?
Thanks
Hello,
If you use some attribute for the some products then you’ll see the list of filters on the category only if that category has products with these attributes. If the Security alarms category does not have products with the resolution attribute you won’t see the Attribute filter by resolution. You can check this on our Wedding demo where dresses have the size attribute http://prntscr.com/lt6mz9 but don’t have colors, and flowers have color http://prntscr.com/lt6n6f but don’t have size. Widgets filter area includes all the attributes http://prntscr.com/lt6nz5

Ok, I thought that it should work this way but maybe I don’t have enough products added to see it. Also can I change the shop main page to show products from specyfic category, not new products?
Hello,
Available settings you can find in Customize > WooCommerce > Product Catalog http://prntscr.com/lticat
Our theme inherits functionality of WooCommerce plugin and there is no possibility to show products from a specific category on Shop page.
