I set up brand new template using your gym demo. Now whilst most of it looks the same, the prefooters are not matching your demo.
1. How are you achieving different pre-footers for homepage and shop page.
a. This prefooter has the 3 image banners and no green boxes https://www.8theme.com/demo/xstore/gym/
b. This prefooter has 3 green boxes but no banners https://www.8theme.com/demo/xstore/gym/shop
both of these are in the pre-footer section, so some how you are specifying different prefooters for different pages. How are you achieving this, because I can not replicate it?
2. Where can I get access to the code for the 3 green boxes with all the content inside?
Hello,
We used Static Blocks feature to create different prefooters and then used 8theme Layout options for the every page to choose the necessary prefooter for the different page. If you provide me temporary admin panel access I’ll create both Static Blocks for you.
Regards
Here you go.
Hello,
Prefooter with banners you already have in Static Blocks area and just need to edit it to change http://prntscr.com/fznv0t
Also, I have created prefooter for the shop page. Check, please.
Let me know if you need any other help.
Regards
Thanks but I’m noticing a something strange.
Why would pressing save on 8theme, menu’s, widgets or any other page in fact make the prefooter shop static block lose it’s setting changing from “data-vc-full-width-init=”true” to “data-vc-full-width-init=”false” when I am not even saving on that page?
When ever I press save on any other page other than the prefooter shop static block page, something overwrites the prefooter shop setting losing it’s styling.
Why does saving on other pages make the prefooter lose it settings?
I’ve added instructions to replicate issue.
Hello,
I have checked your page and see that you have warnings there. Tty to disable all the third-party plugins and remove all the third-party scripts that you used and check if the problem still persists.
Regards
Hi olga, can you remove the link to the image and try not post images showing the actual site in public domain, I added that only for you in the private section.
I’ve disabled the plugins and errors have been removed but the problem still exists.
Hello,
Please, provide me FTP access.
Regards
Here you go the details
Any update?
Hello,
No, unfortunately developers still can’t find out why it happens on that page only. Can we check if the issue with stretch row appears on staging website or on real site also? Do you have any server cache on staging website?
Regards
The staging site has no caching, its disabled by default. So every change is live. You can test this by pressing save on the static block and refresh the page, it fixes it. The moment you press save anywhere else the stretch is lost. So the changes happen realtime, more likely to be a bug in the template because only changes on the template make the pre-footer lose it’s stretch setting. And it happens on any page that pre-footer is displayed and only when stretch is applied.
And I believe the bug is related to the following code vc should display on the pre-footer to stretch row, data-vc-full-width-init=”true” but instead vc spits out data-vc-full-width-init=”false” so something wrong with coding
Hello,
It’s because the VC script does not work on that page. We are trying to find out why, sometimes cache makes such issues.
Dashboard access does not work anymore. Have you changed it?
Regards
