I am trying to disable the XStore Lightbox because I am getting two lightboxes triggered (I think one from XStore and one from Elementor). Since I am using Elementor, I’d rather disable the Xstore one, not the elementor one. I am trying to follow the ticket here:

    https://www.8theme.com/topic/problem-with-the-galery-lightbox-in-single-product/

But I do not have all the options you shared in your screen record, including the Gallery option is not there. Can you help with this?

    Hello, @thedeancorp,

We regret to inform you that we are currently experiencing difficulties accessing your website. For your convenience, we have provided a screenshot illustrating the issue in the private content area.

1/ We would like to remind you to verify that your website is currently utilizing the most recent versions of XStore. Please ensure that you have updated to the latest version of the XStore theme, which is version 9.2.3, and the XStore Core plugin, which is version 5.2.3.

For your convenience, you can review the update history and access the latest versions at the following link: https://xstore.8theme.com/update-history/
    https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/theme-installation/theme-update/

2/ We suggest switching to the XStore Parent theme if you are currently using the XStore Child Theme on your site (Appearance > Themes). After clearing the cache, check again. The issue may be due to your Child Theme. Let us know the result.

Please note that you should take a complete backup of your site before proceeding.

Furthermore, we would appreciate it, if you could provide a screenshot of the issue and what exactly you want or your desired goal and create valid/working temporary wp-admin access and share the details via the private content area. This will allow us to review your settings and better understand the issue at hand.

    Best regards,
    The 8Theme Team.

Hello, I have verified I am using the most up-to date version of the theme, wordpress and all plugins. I also reset the password to the original password, so it should work now.

My problem is the same as the discussion I linked to here (https://www.8theme.com/topic/problem-with-the-galery-lightbox-in-single-product/). Based on this topic, the problem is that both the theme and elementor are triggering a lightbox.

I checked out the instructions you left there to disable the theme lightbox. However, if I am using the default product pages (WooCommerce -> Single Product Page), then the option to disable the theme lightbox is not there.

As far as I can tell, the only way to disable the theme’s lightbox is to use the product builder (WooCommerce – Single Product Builder).

Is there a way to disable the theme’s lightbox with the default prebuilt pages or is the only solution to disable Elementors lightbox?

    Hello, @thedeancorp,

We hope this message finds you well. We would like to provide further clarification regarding the lightbox functionality within Elementor and the Theme Single Product Builder.

Please note that Elementor incorporates its own lightbox feature, as does the Theme Single Product Builder. As per the guidance provided in the previous discussion, you are required to deactivate the lightbox option associated with the Theme Single Product Builder. This setting can be found within the Single Product Builder’s options.

Should you be utilizing the default layout for the single product page, rather than the builder, we regret to inform you that there is no available option to disable the theme’s lightbox feature. It is important to mention that in our testing environment, the default layout of the single product page does not exhibit a lightbox.

We recommend attempting to disable the Elementor lightbox and proceed to clear your website’s cache, which includes any site cache plugins you may be using. After taking these steps, please revisit your site to see if the issue has been resolved.

We trust this information will assist you in addressing your concern. Should you require any further assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out.

    Best Regards,
    The 8Theme Team

Thanks for the reply. I attempted to use the product builder so I can disable the theme’s lightbox, rather than the elementor’s lightbox. While that works, I ran into a different issue, but I will open a new thread for that.

To summarize this thread though, you can only disable the theme’s lightbox with a custom product page build. Should you use the default builder, you need to disable elementor’s as it is the only option 🙂

And as a side note, if anyone else has to do that and is reading this ticket, you can re-enable elementor’s lightbox on a page by page basis if you need the lightbox on something other than a product page 🙂
