I want to get rid of this, because it spams me every time with tons of spam messages
    and I’m sick of it.
Also Elementor always tells me, that in the background there’s running an database update process.
Surely this slows down my whole system, how can I stop this!
Can the theme only be used with Elementor?
    Don’t like this anymore.
    A really annoying plugin.

    Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Regarding the spam messages, we would recommend you contact the support of the Elementor plugin – https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/elementor/ and read these articles -https://elementor.com/help/block-spam-messages-from-forms/ https://elementor.com/help/enable-disable-email-logging/

As for the Elementor database update process, it is a standard procedure that ensures your website functions correctly. However, if it is running continuously, we recommend checking for any pending updates in Elementor and WordPress. You may also try deactivating and reactivating Elementor to see if this resolves the issue.

Our theme is fully compatible with Elementor, offering extensive customization options. However, if you prefer, you may opt to use an alternative page builder such as WPBakery or the default WordPress editor, Gutenberg (Disable Gutenberg styles > Off in Theme Options > Speed Optimization).

We would also like to inform you that if you wish to switch from WPBakery to Elementor, it will be necessary to recreate the content of your pages as there is no migration tool that can automatically transfer content from one builder to another. To ensure minimal disruption to your existing site, we recommend creating a staging site (a copy of your existing site) and updating it page by page. Or delete old demo content that was created using Elementor https://imgur.com/tRQiXkE and then import the WPBakery demo version.

We hope this information is helpful.

    Best regards,

    Hello,

Thank you for your message. We appreciate your inquiry.

If you are using Elementor, we recommend keeping the Pro Elements plugin active to ensure full functionality. However, if you do not require the additional features provided by the Pro Elements plugin, you may deactivate it. Please note that any elements dependent on the deactivated plugin will no longer function. Therefore, we suggest testing your website after deactivation to ensure that all essential elements continue to work as expected.

    Best regards,
    8Theme’s Team
