Hello,
I need to translate everything from English to Spanish on the shop checkout page (attached image). I have enabled the ‘Separated’ option as Layout.
I have already updated the .po files, I have also tried Loco Translated, but I am not able to translate it.
I also have the same problem with the ‘Frequently bought together’ section, which is also not translated from Loco Translate or .po file.
The rest of the website is in Spanish.
I have also followed all of the steps outlined in https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/theme-translation/translation-files-update/ and it still doesn’t work.
Can you help me?
Pd. What I indicate in the image with red circles should be translated and is not translated.
Hello, @Ismael,
Could you please share your site WP Admin URL and Credentials with me in the private content area of this topic and share those words translation as well so that I’ll check and help you out in solving your issue.
Regards 8Themes Team.
I attach the credentials.
The words to be translated are attached in the image of the first comment of this Topic + Frequently Bought Together + For %s item(s) + Add all to cart.
Thanks!
Hello, @Ismael,
Your provided URL is showing this: https://postimg.cc/PL4T4Sg8

can you send me your country of access and public IP? since the server is blocking it.
Hello,
We’ve checked translation of the theme, Core, WooCommerce on your site. Why do you have files in 2 locations? https://prnt.sc/WMmK7oYKk2Di
“System” location is the correct one, so delete other files, then do the Sync and find/translate mentioned stings.
Regards
but with the system translation I lose the translations when I update the theme?
I have it in Custom so as not to lose the changes.
Regards!
You will not lose translation after update, but we would recommend doing a backup of all the files before any update.
You can leave files in “Custom” or in “System” location, but only in 1 place, because they conflict.
Regards
I have already removed all duplicates leaving only the system translations, but it still doesn’t work at all.
Some problems have been fixed, but there are still some words in the purchase steps that are not translated for me.
Where or how can I change them?
PS. I attach in the image the words that it has not yet translated from English to Spanish.
Thank you.
Hello,
Check now, please.
Regards
Now all of the above (shopping page) works fine, but after you changed something, we have lost some translations.
E.g. In the shopping cart it says ‘Shipping’ in English (image 1), and it doesn’t translate ‘Up to %s’ as an offer (image 2).
I have used Loco Translate to translate these strings (image 3). I have cleared all caches (web, server, browser… but it doesn’t sync).
What is the problem?
Thank you.
Hello,
Sync was done – https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/theme-translation/translation-files-update/ Sometimes new strings are added, and only after synchronization, you’ll be able to translate new strings or strings that were changed. Not always, but some strings can be missing after the sync and you need to find and translate them one more time, this is independent of us and relates to WP functionality.
After every update, you need to synchronize translation – https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/theme-translation/translation-files-update/
Clear cache and check the translation now.
Regards
Great, now it’s all there.
Thank you very much for all your help.
