Hi, I’m creating a single post template and using your “product list” widget to display certain products. One of the data source options is List ID’s which shows the capability to connect to dynamic content – assuming after you create a custom field in your post. However, even after purchasing and activating Elementor Pro, the dynamic option does not work. It just shows a “connect and activate” button. I’ve reached out to Elementor and they said it is an issue with the theme and they are willing to help if needed.

    Can you please help.

    Dear @ryanasm81,

We hope this message finds you well.

Upon attempting to log in to your website, we encountered the message: “This site is currently undergoing scheduled maintenance.” (https://prnt.sc/tu6iTz0odrnX) As a result, we are currently unable to access the site to review or address any issues.

Regarding the “dynamic tags” feature, please note that it is built using the Elementor PRO plugin. We have added a few custom fields from our XStore theme that should be simply displayed in the list as other options. Once the maintenance mode is lifted, we recommend checking whether the dynamic tags feature is functioning correctly across all widgets, not just the one you previously tested. Additionally, it would be helpful to verify if the feature works with default Elementor widgets when using a default theme, such as Storefront.

We would be happy to assist in checking this for you once the site is accessible again.

    Thank you for your understanding.

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson

Hi Jack. I’m not sure why you received that message. The site is absolutely live. Maybe our site’s hosting was doing maintenance during that time. I can confirm that I’m logged in and everything is viewable.

I tried to connect the dynamic content with just Elementor. The XStore widget (and Elementor’s widgets) required PRO to be installed. Which it now is, and active, and I’m still seeing the message on the XStore widget. The widget in question is in fact an XStore widget, so I’m not sure how checking with any other theme would solve it.

Please try to log in again and let me know if you have any issues. Thanks!

    Dear @ryanasm81,

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. Upon review, we have identified a bug in the IDs field of our product widgets. This field should not support dynamic tags, as there is no need for such functionality, nor are there any tags intended to be dynamically set in this field.

We kindly ask you to disregard the dynamic option in this field for now. Please rest assured that we will address this issue and include the necessary modifications for the IDs fields in the Products grid, list, and carousel widgets in our next update.

We sincerely appreciate your diligence in identifying and reporting this bug, as it allows us to improve our product. In the meantime, if you need to display specific custom products, you can simply type the product titles and select the desired products from the list generated by your search input.

Thank you for your understanding and support.

    Best regards,

But could it? Instead of fixing the bug so that dynamic content is not configurable, could you make it work? I think this could be HUGELY beneficial connecting it to custom fields in the single post dashboard. Blog articles are often a top-funnel entry point for website traffic, and it would be great to be able to promote specific products associated with that blog article using this widget.
