How do I edit the fields on the form on the /contacts/ page?

Hello,

You have to edit Contact page template in wp-content/themes/legenda/contacts.php and the file wp-content/themes/legenda/framework/theme-functions.php in line 1719 (the section “Send message from contact form”). Also, we recommended to make all changes in Child Theme.

No, sorry. I mean how do i add and delete fields from the form? I want to add some more fields to the form. I have used Contactform7 in the past but this looks different.

Hello

To add or edit contact form fields navigate to Contact > Contact Form and choose the form you need to edit. http://prnt.sc/c3kmet

You can add the following fields, see screenshot http://prnt.sc/c3klmw

Hello,

You can edit Contact page template in wp-content/themes/legenda/contacts.php. We recommended to make all changes in Child Theme. Unfortunately, we do not have the ability to edit form via admin panel.

Hi

I’m sorry to ask about this again but I hope you can help. I don’t know how to add and edit the form fields for contact.php file in code. Is there no way that I can add and edit the form fields through the admin? I have used Contact7 plugin before and it was very easy for me to do in admin.

Hello,

You can use Contact Form 7 plugin, and add it to your Contact page, but in this case use Default template instead of Contact Page template in the page editor.

If I want to edit the contacts.php and theme-functions.php files, what am I supposed to do with them? I want to change the wording (language) in the contact form.

Hello,

If you want to translate contact form fields you can do this in .po file in wp-content/themes/legenda/languages directory. Please read this documentation https://www.8theme.com/demo/docs/legenda/#!/how_to_translate .
