    Hi,

We reached you in themeforest support. For reminder, an error occurred with ajax filter on our site. So, shortcodes as rev slider, testimonials and gmap are not working anymore. Earlier on the same day, woocommerce french translation was updated, post-template.php in wp-includes was modified to change the word “private” before a private post title and in the theme folder loop-page.php and category.php were modified but set back like they were before the modification.

So can you look at it please ? It’s very confusing. The person who set up the site didn’t create a child theme and we don’t think the problem is about a third-party plugin.

Will be waiting for your request.
    Thanks a lot

As I see you have old theme version. Please update it to the latest one (3.4): https://www.8theme.com/demo/docs/idstore/index.html#!/upgrade as some bugs are fixed in the new release.
If the problem still persists after update reply back to us.

    Regards,

    Thanks for your answer.

We don’t have a child theme so we have to think about set up one in our site and update the theme then.

However, we have a backup of the theme before this error occured. Do you think it’s usefull if we upload this version on our server ? Is this action risked for our theme configuration ?

    Regards

If the back up was made before your current theme configuration, then you’ll lose the changes that were made, but if you created the back up after the theme modifications then you’re safe to restore it.

We suggest you to create a back up of the theme configuration you have now and update the theme. After that replace the theme files with the ones you made changes to.

    Hi,

FYI I tried on my localhost an update of a theme to correct this “enable your javascript” problem. Even with an update, problem is still here. So I think this bug is not fixed with the last release.

    So I removed “if(ajaxFilterEnabled == 1)” on ligne 674 in script.js (\wp-content\themes\idstore\js).

Everything is working now but I’m still interested in the right solution.

    Hello @Naomi,

Unfortunately there is a bug for Ajax Filter in the theme. We’ve taken it into our account and it should be fixed in our future update.
    We’re sorry for inconveniences.

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

I have the same issue on the contact page, I have a child theme, and the Blanco theme I have is 2.9.1 – is there anything I can do for now until you bring out an update, I have seen the response from Naomi however that piece of code is not on my file.

    thanks
