After migrating the website from localhost to online the special chars get a weird encode, example:
“ção” -> “ÇÃO”
I cheked the contente in the DB and is exactly the same as localhost, so nothing changed there.
It seems to happen with componentes added from the WPBakery Visual Composer that comes with the template, is there a way to activate or update this?
Thank you.
Hi,
It is out of our support scope.
Anyhow, if you are sure that this is from Visual Composer,
1. deactivate and delete the VC
2. download the latest version from here https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/
3. upload, install and activate it again..
this will give you the new VC files and the problem will be solved.
Did you ever find a fix for this? It’s still happening on the latest theme.
Hello @xsale,
Please submit a new topic and describe your problem in details. Also, provide us with temporary wp-admin and FTP access so we can take a closer look.
Regards
