    Hello,

I have set up a Child theme for Royal
    @import url(”../royal/style.css”);

The thing is, whenever I add a style it does not update on the site, it takes about 30min-1h to see the results and it makes me have an ulcer.. 🙁

Do you know how I can enqueue my css from my custom function so it loads it before the original one?

    Thanks,
    Emelie

    Hello,

Most likely your site is cached. Please clear your cache and check the site again.
Also please provide us with wp-admin and FTP credentials in Private Content to look on issue more deeply.

    Regards,
    Robert Hall.

    Hello,

The code in style.css file of the Royal Child Theme has the most highest priority then default style.css of the Royal Theme.

Then I don’t understand what the issue is.

It takes sooooo loooong for my custom css to be updated on the site.
Normally I just have to refresh, but now I have to wait 30 minutes.

Most likely you use DNS cache. Please clean it.

I will give it a go but I have about 10 websites and I don’t have this problem on any of them..

I will get back to you if it worked.

    Thanks

    Hi again,

I have cleaned my DNS cache, but no change.

Do you have any other ideas on how to solve this?

    FYI

I contacted my hosting company who gave me this code to put in to the .htaccess
    Header add “disablevcache” “true”

It worked and I can now see my changes straight away.
