We purchased the Royal WordPress Theme version 1.4 today, downloaded all files and attempted to install and activate the theme.

After uploading the zip file to using the Dashboard -> Theme -> Add Theme option, we activated it and received the following error message:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in /home/content/67/8555167/html/wp-content/themes/royal/framework/theme-functions.php on line 2848

I was not able to use the Dashboard at all until I manually deleted the theme.

    Please advise.

    Thanks!

    Hello,

That error means that you need change php version to 5.3. Please contact your host and ask them to do this.

    Thank you.
