When importing a demo and installing the plugins, we get this error (screenshot attached).

Then when we click ok, we get sent to a page that says you don’t have access. When we refresh and log back into the wp-admin dashboard, XStore is completely gone and we have to delete the theme and reinstall it all over again.

We’ve tried this 5 times so far with no luck.

    Thank you.

It’s completely broken, anytime we try to make any changes in XStore we get locked out of the website and then when we go back XStore is gone and we have to delete the theme and reinstall all over again..

Update: We have tried everything. Deactivating and deleting all existing plugins, deactivating and deleting all existing themes. Adding plugins via FTP through out host, nothing works. Every time it crashes and fails with errors when we try to import a demo store.

    Hello,

    We appreciate your prompt response.

We have disabled all third-party plugins and proceeded with the installation of the XStore theme along with the required plugins. Additionally, we have imported the demo content, excluding the products, as per your request https://prnt.sc/cRzIjW3OvKda > https://prnt.sc/h4CxT2PpWiui

Please check the setup and let us know if any further adjustments are needed.

Thank you, a few quick questions.

Can I not use any 3rd party plugin? We need some of them.

Also, there’s this big space on the home page that isn’t there in the theme preview (screenshot attached).

When trying to remove it, we now get an error that doesn’t allow us to edit the homepage on elementor anymore.

Unfortunately I’m unsure how to fix it now, but not sure why it was creating that white space

    Hello,

The space on the homepage has appeared due to your previous settings in the Elementor Pro plugin. Please note that this space is not related to the theme.
It was necessary to adjust the settings to remove the extra space, and it seems that your attempt to do so led to a new issue. We have resolved the problem by following the official Elementor plugin documentation: https://elementor.com/help/post-content-widget-not-found/

Everything is now functioning correctly, and you can proceed with editing the homepage content as needed.

Regarding third-party plugins, you are free to activate them. However, we recommend reading the plugin descriptions carefully before activation to ensure that only necessary plugins are enabled. Additionally, we suggest activating them one at a time to immediately identify any potential conflicts. Please keep in mind that each additional plugin may slightly slow down the website’s performance.

If you need any further assistance, feel free to reach out.

    Best regards,

Hey guys, thanks for your assistance!

I’m facing a new issue now, I’ve gone through your documentation and also some other forum posts but didn’t find a solution.

Your documentation shows you can change your theme colors here https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/theme-installation/theme-options-styling-colors/, but when we do this, the theme colors don’t change. We also tried going into elements manually in Elementor and still can’t get the colors to change.

Could you please explain why so we understand what’s happening, we’re following the documentation but with no success.

    Thank you.

    Hello,

Could you please specify which element’s color you would like to change? If you are referring to the header, please note that it was created using the Header Builder. To modify it, you will need to navigate to Header Builder via Elementor > Edit Template > Edit Settings there.

If you have any additional questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. Our support team is always available to assist you.

Well to be specific, based on the documentation and changing the color, no color changes seem t0 take effect when editing the global color themes like your documentation it seems.

But when changing individual elements in Elementor, it seems we’re able to solve it by hard refreshing every time which isn’t terrible. So I think we’re ok for now.

We do have an issue however with mobile, the bottom widget no longer pops up correctly, categories refreshes the page, socials refreshes the page, contacts just take us to a page with a logo on it. Were unsure why as we haven’t made any changes, this seemed to happen after editing the dropdown megamenus on dekstop (screenshots attached)

This is what we changed, the menu/dropdown menu but for some reason it affected the mobile widget.

Having another issue where for some reason, the new theme is pulling from our old theme:

Clicking the cart icon doesn’t open the cart sidepanel, it goes directly to cart.
For some reason, it was randomly showing the old cart but isn’t anymore.

Products, specifically and only BUNDLE products are inheriting our old theme’s style for some reason.

    Hello,

1/ We suggest that you go to XStore > Theme Options > Mobile panel > delete all default elements and add new ones from scratch.

2/ We recommend that you disable all third-party plugins that are not included with XStore (https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/plugins/included-plugins/). After doing so, please clear your browser’s cache and check again. It is possible that one of these additional plugins is causing the issue with the Cart Off-Canvas.

3/ Please provide the URL of the product from your screenshot and describe your request in more detail.

It is recommended to run import on a fresh WordPress installation.
In your case, your website was previously using a different theme and a set of plugins, which means certain settings may still be active. For example, if you configured something using the Elementor Pro plugin (which is not included with our theme, we use Pro Elements), those settings will remain in effect. This behavior is expected and is not an issue related to the theme itself. It is likely that some of the unusual behavior on your website is caused by settings from third-party plugins or custom code.

If you have any additional questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. Our support team is always available to assist you.

    1. Ok, I understand but when I go to delete them, I’m not sure what I would replace them with that would give them the same functionality as in the demo. Is there a specific template or selection to choose from that would give it that same funcionality?

    2. I went ahead and tested deactivating each and every plugin as well as clearing the browser cache but am still having issue where the cart doesn’t slide out.

    3. This URL for example, which is a bundled product.

Lastly, do you guys offer any services to help me make sure the theme is ready to go and help make certain plugins we require to be compatible?

Update on the cart not popping out when clicking the cart icon:
tried deactivating all plugins, used GPT to troubleshoot with it’s full knowledgebase of XStore which it surprisingly new all features and settings, but still having no luck in fixing the issue. Only pops out when adding a product but doesn’t pop out when clicking cart. Just goes straight to cart page.

Update: GPT helped me to fix the bundled product page issue, so that’s all clear.

I would greatly appreciate some help on the mobile widgets problem I was facing though as well as the cart button improperly not popping out and going straight to the cart page upon click.

    Hello,

We sincerely apologize for the delay in our response.

    1. Please review the current settings of mobile panel elements or take screenshots of them. After deletion, you will be able to restore the settings accordingly. However, please pay close attention to the names of the settings to avoid selecting the home page for the Cart element, as this may result in incorrect behavior.

    2. We can’t connect FTP.
Please check it. Try to connect to FTP using FileZilla by yourself and provide us with the correct credentials.
Is there a restriction by IP or something else that doesn’t allow us to connect?

    Best regards,
    8Theme’s Team
