Error with ajax – with quick view - by muhupower

    Hello,

    I disabled every plugin, cleared cache, restarted browers.. etc..

    Not sure how this got all messed up but when I try to view the quick view in the shop I get this error..

    I was also seeing some other odd stuff going on so I know something must have gotten messed up..

    Even when I disable the child.. the actual default is messed up. quick view doesnt show at all

    I just enabled all the plugins.. etc.. since I can’t seem to pin point it..

    I also found something odd in CONSOLE while not logged in… Getting a bunch of double ID’s?

    Maybe this could be a link?

    Not sure but maybe this has something to do with the header builder in the theme?

    – Need to fix Quick VIew
    – Need to fix Console double ID

    Also.

    Not sure if this is related but…

    In the checkout.. when you sign in it doesnt carry over the shipping information with the account that has been already created.

    This was working..

    Also when you sign in and sign out vice versa.. the cart items disapear..

    Something going on with the AJAX?

    Sorry to add this to the list of items pending.. however I think they are all tied together.. just trying to shed some light on this for you.

    Hello,

    Why did you copy the whole woocommerce folder to child theme http://prntscr.com/schr4g ?
    It caused your issue with the QV because once I renamed that folder it works fine http://prntscr.com/schs7l

    Hey.. I wanted to make some child edits..

    Like on the single page and I also made some edits in the emails..

    Isn’t that what you are supposed to do? copy that folder so you don’t overwirte the core?

    Thanks i see it working again!

    I tried to sign in to the checkout with my account already on file with cc and address..

    The CC comes through but not the address information does not populate into the checkout fields upon loggin in…

    Any ideas?

    Hello,

    If you want to make some changes in a few files only then copy just these few files, there is no need to copy woocommerce folder with all the files inside. Copy only files that you want to overwrite and keep the folder structure, for example, to make changes in related.php copy it to xstore-child/woocommerce/single-product/related.php and make your changes.

    Thanks for your response and I will use that logic moving forward…

    Olga, We are close I want to stop bothering you!

    Can you see this attachement, 2 more things concert me if you can help me out I think we will be fnished.

    1. In console I am getting a ton of duplicate ID… ( while not logged in ) when you are logged in this goes away. Maybe it has to do with the account sign in form…

    2. Also, need to get those checkout fields to populate with the user data from past orders when signing into exiting account… I will give you credentials from a user with address and cc details ( the cc details comes through ) but makes the user type in their address all over again which shoouldnt be..

    — Maybe 1 has to do with number 2 ?

    Hello,

    1) It’s caused by the login form that persists for the desktop and mobile headers. You may skip these notices.

    2) I suppose this issue could be related to third-party plugin that you use http://prntscr.com/sctmnt Try to disable and check. I’m sure that it’s not related to notices from 1 question.

    FIXEd it was a function i added…

    How do I change the

    “No results were found”… html in the search ajax when nothing is found while searching..

    I found the file.. controllers.php..

    I tried adding that to my child theme in the same folder structure as your plugin but its not overitting.

    I did.. but I edited the plugin core file… is there a better way?

    Hello,

    Don’t change the plugin files because you will lose them after plugin update. Use plugin translation files if you want to translate or just change any texts https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/theme-translation/base-theme-translation/
