Hi,
I recently had a big problem accessing the wordpress backend as there were some errors. In order to access I had to change the theme, using a free default wordpress theme. When I was able to access the backend I was able to update both the XStore theme and the XStore Core plugin. Perhaps the problem was created by not updating the theme and plugin. It can happen that you don’t access the backend for weeks and this could create the problem again in the future. How can I avoid the problem?
I have a second question: in the XStore control panel a patcher (#91119831) is reported to be applied. Could this have caused the problem? Do I have to apply it?
Hello, Giuseppe,
Thank you for contacting us and for using XStore.
The problem was fixed in the latest theme update, and should not occur anymore.
The mentioned patch is not obligatory and can be ignored. You can apply it, and this won’t cause any problems.
Kind Regards,
8theme team
