Hi guys,
Just wondering. Is it possible to add another “Brand” type on my products?
I’m building a record shop online. It would be handy if i have a “LABEL” on my product option as well.
I need the Brand option since i’ll be selling other merchandise in my website.
Please let me know how to add “LABEL” option on each of my products..
HI guys, i made this already. Now i need a little help how i can show the taxonomy in single product page.
Anyone?
Thanks
Hello,
By default, Brand is displayed in the sidebar on single product page http://prntscr.com/det1zf . Go to Theme Options > E-Commerce > Single Product Page > Sidebar position and choose the position of your sidebar.

HI Olga,
Thanks. I’m aware of that. 🙂 But i want to have a page where i can list all the RECORD LABELS that i carry in my shop..
Since it’s a record shop. I want a page that has the list of labels. I’ll look for example later.
I managed to create custom tax already. http://prntscr.com/detk4d
It seems working fine now.
Please check this. http://prntscr.com/detiot
I want to appear the label as a TEXT link under the SUBTITLE(ALBUM TITLE).,
Is this possible with XStore?
Thanks
Hi guys this is what i wanted to achieve on my Label page..
So, when someone click the LABEL under the Product subtitle they will go to this page..
The brand logo in the sidebar looks really cool but it would be time consuming for me to gather logos from record labels. So a list like this would be enough for my record shop..
Please let me know what to do. 🙂
Thanks
Hello,
If you have added custom post type for products then you need to copy into child theme and edit xstore/woocommerce/single-product-content.php file to show your label there.
Regards
If i edit this file xstore/woocommerce/single-product-content.php should it be better if i put this on my childtheme folder? Can you give me what type of code i should look for when editing? Ty
Hello,
Yes, you should copy the file into child theme folder. Don’t change files in parent theme because you’ll lose your changes after theme update.
You may add function to display the post type in child theme functions.php and then use woocommerce hooks in single-product-content.php to show this function. Actually, you may try to do all of this in functions.php of child theme http://prntscr.com/dfnbdn
WooCommerce documentation about this https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/introduction-to-hooks-actions-and-filters/
Regards
The printscreen doesn’t work on my end. http://prntscr.com/dfnbdn
Anyway, this is very new to me. LOL i won’t be able to do this by myself.. Too bad.
Hello,
Check this one https://infinit.io/_/342c6tS
Yes, you should have some PHP skills to do this.
Regards
Before i bought this theme i asked on TF if this is possible and if someone from the team could help me atleast..
i can’t see these codes on single-product-content.php
Hello,
I have sent you screenshot of child theme functions.php. In this case, you even don’t need to edit single-product-content.php.
We offer customization service https://www.8theme.com/customization-services/ but this is not included in our basic theme support.
