The problem is that I am having duplicate open graph data show when I use Yoast SEO open graph and nothing else. After viewing the page source I see where there is a few extra OG tags.

    Can those be turned off?

I have read a couple other threads about this but I am not familiar with php to fix the issue. I would also add that I have seen 2 other sites using the same theme with the same issue.

    Thanks in advance

    Hello,

You need edit the file wp-content/themes/legenda/framework/theme-functions.php and remove or comment the code in lines 1130-1134.

    Best regards,

I don’t know php. Can I just delete those specified lines and be okay? I really don’t know what a comment is in terms of php.

If deleting the code is a solutions, should I copy/paste the theme-function.php into the child theme so that when I erase the code it stays that way through updates?

    Hello,

Yes, you can delete the code in the mentioned lines and copy the edited file to child theme. How to create child theme you can read here:

Cool thanks. I will get to that here shortly.

Are you guys planning on makng a change for this in the future? Maybe adding an on/off button in theme options for the open graph. Or is there only a few people having this issue?

    Thanks
