    Hello!

We have been facing significant high CPU usage issues this year. Recently, we had to move to a dedicated server because our hosting provider forced us to leave the shared server. Our webshop was consuming all the server’s resources, which is far from ideal.

We started debugging to identify the main problem on our site and discovered that when the template is active, CPU usage spikes significantly—even when there aren’t many visitors on the webshop.

I’ve gone through many discussions on similar issues here, and it seems like you were able to resolve them in the end.

Could you please help us as well?

    Thank you!

    Hello, Szocs Attila,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Could you provide some screenshots or analytics of CPU usage?

Please read the conversation on this topic – https://www.8theme.com/topic/high-usage-cpu/ and follow the recommendations from there first.

After that, please provide us with temporary wp-admin and FTP access. We will check what can be done to help you.

To grant WP-Admin access, please proceed to create a new user account with an administrator role through your WordPress Dashboard. Once the account is established, you may securely transmit the username and password to us via the Private Content section designated for this purpose.

For FTP access, we require the following details: FTP host, FTP username, FTP password, FTP port, and FTP encryption type. If you need assistance in creating these credentials, please reach out to your hosting provider who will guide you through the process.

    Best regards,
    8Theme’s Team

    Dear @Szocs Attila,

We hope this message finds you well.

We have conducted a test on your website’s resources, and you can download the results using the link provided below. Upon reviewing the findings, we would like to share some observations and recommendations for improving your website’s performance.

It appears that the WooCommerce plugin is responsible for a significant portion of the resource load. To address this, we suggest reducing the number of products displayed on your shop page. Currently, 24 products are being shown, which may be contributing to the slower loading time of the shop page. After making this adjustment, we recommend testing the page again to evaluate the impact.

Additionally, we advise reaching out to WooCommerce support for further assistance. As indicated in the attached screenshots, the primary source of the issue seems to be related to the WooCommerce plugin itself. Their team may be able to provide more specific guidance or solutions.

Should you have any further questions or require additional assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson

I have now deactivated all plugins to ensure there is no conflict between them. However, the load time of a product page was still around 4.5 seconds. Then, I switched to the default Twenty Twenty-Five theme, and the load time decreased to 0.5 seconds, which is a significant improvement.

It seems there is an issue with your template.

You can check the screenshots I have attached.
