Fake orders on website since started using 8themes

Since I activated theme on website started getting fake order without registration.

Our team is already have taken precautions on website without registration can’t place orders.

1/ Kindly ensure that your website is running the latest versions of the XStore theme (9.4.6) and the XStore Core plugin (5.4.6). You can refer to the following links for update history and detailed instructions on updating:

Afterward, please clear all caches and check again.

2/ Please read our theme documentation here: https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/woocommerce/enabling-user-registration-on-website/

3/ We suggest disabling all third-party plugins (including cache plugins and CDN ) that do not come bundled with XStore (https://xstore.helpscoutdocs.com/article/36-included-plugins ), clearing the cache of the browser, and then checking again. It is possible that one of the additional plugins is causing the issue.

If the issue still persists, please keep all third-party plugins deactivated on your site and grant permission to debug your site, which includes deactivating all third-party plugins and on-site Customization. This will allow us to investigate and assist you accordingly.

Please note that you should take a complete backup of your site before proceeding.

I have 4 e-commerce business put of that I am getting fake users registered without verification and attempting to place orders, my team identified the problem with your theme.

Hi @Harish,

Can you please try installing the reCaptcha for WooCommerce on your website?

– https://woocommerce.com/products/recaptcha-for-woocommerce/
– https://wordpress.org/plugins/recaptcha-woo/

Please also disable the “Allow customers to place orders without an account” checkbox by going to WooCommerce > Settings > Accounts and Privacy.

Nothing is working my team all other options and finally have to use third party plugin to stop but I am not happy with same, I want smooth user experience for my customers like my other e-commerce business.

However, we noticed that no screenshots were provided to help us better understand the issue you are experiencing on your website. Additionally, we are currently unable to log in to your website due to custom redirections implemented in the login form.

To assist you further, we recommend testing whether the issue persists when using the default Storefront theme. Please note that the functionality related to user registration is managed by the WooCommerce plugin and is not directly tied to the XStore theme. It should function the same way with the default theme.

If the issue is also present with the Storefront theme, we kindly suggest reaching out to the WooCommerce plugin support team, as they would be best equipped to assist you with this matter.
