Fatal Error Allowed Memory Size – XStore Theme

    Hello,

    We’re having an issue with our theme. It’s giving us a fatal error when we try to access one of our product categories from the shop page – https://shop.btekholdings.com/product-category/ink-toner/.

    Error Message

    “Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 805306368 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 20480 bytes) in /home/customer/www/shop.btekholdings.com/public_html/wp-includes/meta.php on line 1190. There is a critical error on this website.”

    We’ve tried clearing the cache to no avail and it seems to only be happening to this category. Please help!

    Hello,

    Do you need a filter by the brand widget in the sidebar? Because I see that you have a lot of brands and probably that causes the PHP memory error.

    We do for certain categories. There’s a lot of brands, but only a few per category.

    Is it possible to make the widget only show available brands for the category being shown?

    Hello,

    No, there is no such possibility, unfortunately.
    Ask your hosting provider to increase the limit to fix the memory error or do not use that widget.

    Are you sure that is the issue? Can you please disable it to test and confirm?

    Do you have any alternative options?

    Hello,

    If I removed the brands widget then the categories page is ok. You may try brands list widget instead of the brands filter widget.

    There’s one more thing you can hopefully help me with.

    I’m having an issue with some of the buttons during the checkout process.

    The buttons should be #0971b7 and #2baae2 on hover. Text on the buttons should be white at all times. However, when you go to checkout the button is showing Black with #0971b7 as the text color and changes to the correct colors on hover.

    When I try to update it in the store settings the correct colors aren’t applying.

    The proceed to checkout button, Update Cart Button and place order button are all having issues.

    Please help!
