I am using a favicon plugin that creates all the sizes of favicons for any device, but the favicon only appears in the back end. When I view the site on the front end, the Blanco “B” shows up as the favicon. What do I need to do to change this.

The site is evensongmusic.com. Let me know if you need any additional information. Thank you.

By the way, love the look of the theme!

I had previously read the article on how to create a favicon and have used favicons for the last few years. The problem is that the custom favicon is loaded into server but it only shows up in the back end of the site, not the main site itself. I have set up an admin account for you to see what I mean and the credentials are given below. Your help is greatly appreciated.

    Hello,

I’ve added your favicon to /blanco/images folder and changed the path in header.php file (line 10) which is located in child theme folder. Now the favicon is showing but the size is too big. Please follow the instruction http://codex.wordpress.org/Creating_a_Favicon and create a favicon with small size and it should have .ico extension.

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

I added the favicon to the images directory, changed the header.php file in the child theme folder and everything is working beautifully! Thank you for your help!
