File generator in Admin panel deprecated / replaced ?

Hi,

I am looking for the file generator but it seems it is gone. Has it moved, has it been replaced by something else?
I could not find any documentation about this.

Sorry for the inconvenience, The file generator was removed. It will be removed from the WhiteLabel also.

Hi,

will there be any kind of substitute?

I think this is important. xstore is such a great theme because of its many functions. But having the option to disable assets that are not in use makes it even better, well, faster.

Any recommendations?

Hello, @Martin,

The File generator option was created to speed up the site performance and avoid calling the styles of elements that you don’t use on your site. Use this tool if you are an advanced user ( it may cause style issues on the frontend )

Hi Toni,

I completely understand what the file generator did. It was convenient, but I can disable the styles/assets myself without it.

What would help me, however, is a comprehensive list of the styles, what they do, and where they load. Can you provide such a resource?

That would save me a lot of trial and error.

Unfortunately No, we do not have a such resource for now, but you can read this article: https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/troubleshooting/how-to-speed-up-my-website/ to speed up the site as the basic work of that file generator options was also the speed of the site.
