I do not want to use the standard WooCommerce category pages because of SEO problems with the slug /product-category.
That’s why I want to make my own product category pages where I want to show the products within a specific category (per page). I want to do this with the Visual Composer. It’s easy to load products within a specific category. But I can’t figure out how to load the products within Visual Composer WITH filters (the filters you have on the standard WC categry page).
Is this possible?
Thanks in advance!
Hello,
Unfortunately, WC filters and WC widgets do not work on simple pages, only on the shop page and all the pages that inherit the shop template.
Besides, you can manage woocommerce permalinks in the Settings > Permalinks.

Hi Olga,
I know I can manage the URL’s with the setting Permalinks. But the makers of WC doesn’t recommend doing this, see this article: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/removing-product-product-category-or-shop-from-the-urls/
Is there another solution to achieve what I want? What do you mean by ‘pages that inherit the shop template’?
Thanks.
Hello,
I see. Unfortunately, we don’t have the solution for the filters. You may contact WC support on WC support forum, maybe they will suggest you something that will help you with their filters because it’s not theme functionality.
Regards
