Hi,
In the store, the filters are not working properly.
It shows completely different sizes than the one selected in the filter.
Could you please verify this?
Regards!
Hello,
Could you, please, provide us with screenshot of the issue? Because I tried filer and it works https://gyazo.com/eda16b2fd5cf6d0ca7769e06d47b1ef8 and your product include the appropriate attribute XXL, for example https://prnt.sc/10alolo and https://prnt.sc/10alq16
So, it filters according to your settings. If you don’t have such size for your product then don’t add the attribute for this product.

Hi!
Thank you for your quick reply. As far as I can see the filtering is based on product attributes, not on available sizes.
Is it possible to filter based on the availability of a given size?
Since the products are selling out then filtering by outdated attributes makes no sense.
Regards!
Hello,
Use 8theme – Product Status Filters widget in addition to sizes https://prnt.sc/10bh2ji

Hi,
unfortunately it still doesn’t work.
1. Select ‘XXL’ and ‘In stock’ in the filters.
2. You will see for example this product:
https://controversyjeans.pl/shop/spodnie/jeansy-klasyczne/leather-snake/
but it shouldn’t appear because only size L is available.
https://prnt.sc/10bl67d
Size XXL was there before, but now it’s already sold out.
Is there any way we can set this up better?

Hello,
Remove unused attributes from the list https://gyazo.com/83c85fe0f9975a3301bb78242d6cf7b7
Or create variation for this attribute and set it as out of stock in variation inventory settings.

Hey Olga,
I’m afraid that’s still not a solution to the problem. The second method doesn’t work, while the first method is somewhat cumbersome. With more products on the site and more sales, manually removing attributes after each sale is almost impossible. Everything on the site happens almost automatically, so why do I have to manually remove attributes for the filter to work properly.
A filter like this to find your size is something essential for any online clothing store.

Hello,
But I assume that you remove variation manually, don’t you? Because I don’t see the mentioned variations with the sold-out status in the variations list. If your product will have variation with that status you won’t get the product in the list after filtering.
Besides it’s not related to our theme but to WooCommerce plugin. You can go to Appearance > themes > install and activate Storefront theme, after that add the Filter by attribute widget to sidebar and check. You’ll get the same results.

It still doesn’t solve the problem, but I understand that this cannot be solved in the way I would like.
PS. Is it possible to reopen the topic? I closed this one: https://www.8theme.com/topic/untranslated-fields-my-account-and-too-long-email/#post-280842 and it isn\t completed? Alternatively can you open it? The above one I think we can close then.
Thanks
Hello,
Opened. You can write there
