Hello, we would like the footer to be fixed on desktop so that when there is loss content on a page the footer does not sit in the middle of the page leaving a white space after. When we enable fixed footer in theme options this also forces us to use a container background color to hide the footer until you reach the bottom of the page, but on mobile the container color is not added leaving the footer visible behind all the content on the page.
What is the best way to have a footer fixed to the bottom of the page on desktop for screens like the login screen where the content does not force it to the bottom.
Hello,
There is no other way to fix the footer, unfortunately. So, go to Theme Options > Styling > Container Background Color choose the white color that is suitable for your site and then it will be applied for both: desktop and mobile.

Olga, when I apply the container background color it does not get applied to mobile. It appears on desktop is there a setting that may be causing this?
Hello,
No, I don’t think so. Provide me WP Dashabord access to your site and I’ll check.

See Private area.
Thank you for your help.

I turned off the fixed footer for now because the site is live and it is causing problems, please let me know when you have figured out what the issue is.

Sorry about that I thought it was enabled, I granted access.
Hello,
Try to enable footer and clear browser cache. Also, try to check using the other mobile device. Let me know if it helps.
