    Hello support crew,

I created a child theme. Everything works fine, except the fixed header-navi menu and the mobile menu.
In >> General Options I set up the navigation to >>Fixed Menu, but it doesn’t work. Everything else like the cart- or language bar works perfect. I choose the 1st header type.
Any suggestions what cause this problem? How to fix the menu when scrolling? Would be happy to get some help. I don’t see any solution.

    Thanx & regards

    Hello,

Does fixed header work with parent theme?
Please provide us with FTP and wp-admin panel credentials in Private Content.

    Thank you.
    Regards,

Yes, it’s also the same result in the parent theme. But I forget to say something about outdated copies of template files. I’m sure you know this problem. Just saw a forum post here.

Meanwhile I was able to find out what cause this error. After deactivation of WooCommerce 2.3.7, it works. Now the header navi menu fixed while scrolling and everything’s fine.

So, is it something about that ‘your-theme-has-bundled-outdated-copies-message’? If it is, I start with update these files at first, but I need to know.

    Thanks a lot!

Yeah, that’s great. But …there’s still a question: Is it something about that ‘your-theme-has-bundled-outdated-copies-message’? The WooCommerce plugin is inactive at this time and the header fixed while scrolling. So, only these outdated-copies(plugin) cause that problem(theme)? Should I really update the WC-template files at first to use your theme successful, since I would activate WooCommerce plugin?

(Sorry me and my bad english!)

    Hello,

You can hide this message. It does not affect the performance of your site. It will be fixed in the next theme update.
Also you need to enable WooCommerce plugin if you want to use it.

    Regards,
    Robert Hall.

No, no .. that’s exactly my problem … it does affect the performance of my site … and I know I need to enable the WooCommerce plugin if I want to use it.

    PROBLEM:
When I turn on/activate WooCommerce the header-navi doesn’t fix while scrolling.

… and when I turn out/deactivate WooCommerce the header-navi menu is fixed and also some functions are working not correct.

    • newest WordPress version => 4.1.1
    • newst WooCommerce version => 2.3.7
    • PHP_5.6

WC system status: everything’s perfect, no error messages except the template file issue

    Hello,

Please make backup your site and we will try to reupload theme, very likely some files are corrupted.
Also your FTP credentials isn’t correct. Please provide us again.

    SRY, it’s still the same.

Deleted the theme and the WooCommerce plugin. Then I reuploaded the theme (took a while). Everything is fine. The header navi menu fixed.

Then I downloaded the WooCommerce plugin at the wordpress.org plugin site. When I activated WooCommerce, the header doens’t fix. It’s obviously because of the WooCommerce plugin or his version.

Sorry for repeating, but as I said .. when I deactivate WooCo… header navi does fix.

    Hello

Sorry for inconvenience. Current theme version is not compatible with the latest woocommerce version. We are working on the new version which will be ready for download within next few days. I have send you previous version to email and you may create shop data which can be easily transferred to the new version soon. Thank you for understanding.

    Hi Brian,

We recently purchased this theme and are having exactly the same problem as Stefan.

You say that you will fix the “Fixed Menu” and the “Mobile Menu” not working in the next release. When will this be? How do we go about getting a copy of this update?

    Thanks

In summary, the following is a list of things that the new version of WooCommerce has stopped working.

    1) Top menu not fixed when scrolling down the page
    2) Main slider on home page not showing
    3) The Top menu sub menu items and image (https://www.8theme.com/demo/docs/leader/index.html#!/primary_menu)

    4) Contact page has “Enable your JavaScript!” on it and fails to load the Google Map

    5) JS seems to be failing all over the place. Causing the search icon in the header to not work. Clicking it should show the search input field. Instead, it is linking to the results page and returns a search for “Search for products

    Hello @64digital,

Thank you for wp-admin credentials but we also need FTP access to fix the issues.
If you don’t want to provide us with FTP login details then you need edit the file wp-content/themes/theleader/framework/woo.php on line 206 and replace $woocommerce->nonce_field with wp_nonce_field.
Also you should update Visual Composer plugin. You can download the latest version at this link: https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/ .

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.
